Tiny books using perfume SAmple holders

I have a soft spot for small projects—especially the ones that let me use what’s already on my table. These tiny books are made using thick paper perfume sample holders (the kind with the little bottle inside), and they’re an easy way to turn scraps into something special.

In this quick tutorial, I share how I layer fabric, paper, and stitching to create small, one-of-a-kind books that feel personal and full of story. There’s no measuring, no pressure, and no right or wrong way to do it. Each book becomes its own little world as you go.

These will make perfect gifts AND if you don’t have perfume card holders, just cut down package boxes, they work well also.

These are perfect for:

⭐️ Mini journals or visual diaries
⭐️ Holding favorite quotes or found words
⭐️ Tucking into your art space as inspiration
⭐️ Using up beloved scraps you don’t want to throw away
⭐️ A tiny photo book

They’re simple to make, deeply satisfying, and a great reminder that even the smallest pieces can turn into something meaningful.
