Layering it up in Art Journaling

I must admit that I had a rough start with this one!  I painted on some acrylic paint to start and then I had an idea of where it would go...well, it did not!  I glued down an assortment of papers to fix the mess and then I finger painted in white acrylic to create the shape of the face.  From there I sketched in the features and added more paint. I used a baby wipe at the end to "reveal" the papers layered underneath. Her face is a bit long and she has wild hair but I think I like her anyway.  Her name is Emily.

Have a blessed day!
