inky fABRIC DRAWSTRING POUCHES

There is something about painted fabric that stops you in your tracks.

These drawstring pouches started as plain fabric and ended up as something else entirely. Acrylic inks, alcohol inks, and gesso worked together to create surfaces full of depth, color, and that beautiful unpredictability you only get when ink meets cloth.

Some pieces came out bold and saturated. Others soft and layered, like something worn and loved for years. Each one landed somewhere different, which is exactly what makes them so interesting to look at.

The stitching (some by machine, some by hand) adds its own quiet texture to the finished pieces. Little details that make each pouch feel considered and completely its own.

These are the kinds of handmade things that are just as beautiful sitting on a shelf as they are being used. Color, texture, and a little bit of creative play all wrapped up in one small, satisfying object.
