I love drawing faces and as you can see this spread is no exception! I was inspired by the sense of movement and the lovely repetition of circle elements in Roben-Marie’s work as I created this piece.

While I played with messy stamping, I was delighted by the combination of pattern and texture. As you'll see in the video, I then used that as a jumping off point for my doodles when finishing off the spread.

I think she turned out quite fun and her grin has me wondering what might be up her sleeve! I just love the delightful whimsy that all of these circular doodles create!
