My Creative Business Toolkit: Productivity & Marketing Tools
Peak productivity = more time for creativity
‘Productivity’ sounds like yet another of those boring buzzwords, right?
I don’t think that’s the case - improving your productivity allows you to do more of the fun, creative stuff that you want to be filling your business with. tweet that!
There are so many programs and pieces of software out there that claim to do this, but loads of them are so complicated. You end up spending more time figuring them out and using them than you would otherwise. That’s why I like these three - they’re much simpler than that.
Airtable is super flexible as it is part database, part spreadsheet. I use it for tasks like organizing all of my webpages (which you can read all about here), so that I have more time to spend being creative and less time wasted on trying to find lists and numbers and links.
This is the main tool that I use for managing my tasks, and I actually combine it with Airtable to try to manage my projects as efficiently as possible. Because that’s the goal, right?! You can read more of my thoughts on the wonderful world of Trello HERE.
I use this content marketing calendar primarily for my blog and creative projects, but it can also help if you need to schedule your social media. CoSchedule has a bunch of great features so you can plan, create and promote your content all from one place, and it’s so easy to use as it’s all drag-and-drop.
These three tools are my favorites for maximizing efficiency, and efficiency is IMPORTANT. A minute saved here and there allows you much more space for creativity and artistic explorations - that freedom is priceless.
Have a blessed day!
