Edamame Anyone?

Whew! What a weekend! I taught at Scrap Life again today and had a wonderful day! Scrap Life is a fun store with great owners, Renee, Yolanda and Melanie. These ladies are friendly, helpful and very talented. This is a great place to shop and be sure to spend extra time lounging and visiting in the "couch" area!

Once again, the students were fun to be around and I look forward to coming back in April! Thanks again to all the ladies who attended my classes today.

I must say that I have tried to become more open minded toward trying new foods and this weekend was no exception. I tried Thai food on Thursday and discovered that I like Red Curry. It is a lot like a soup with chunks of veggies, tofu and spices. It is very good! But, I think the highlight was trying Vietnamese food tonight. I tried Edamame (soy beans steamed with salt)! I loved these! I also tried a chicken and shrimp dish with noodles, spring rolls, lemon grass and curry. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this dish! I am hooked!

I am back on the road tomorrow as I venture back home. I will be preparing this week for Art & Soul in Portland and have a few ideas for some new classes that I hope to begin working on developing.
