Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 12:00AM Imagine opening your mailbox and finding a splash of color and pattern. This is no ordinary envelope! You pull it out to reveal a work of whimsy and art sent by someone who clearly holds you dear.
In my largest and most requested class, we will explore Art That Travels. From a quick anytime project to mail art that transforms into a hidden gift, we will create fifteen pieces of art requiring postage. This workshop is improvisational and free spirited…with a more non-linear approach. You will see my entire process while I "think" through steps and change my mind and direction as new ideas come. Be inspired by file folders, fabric, recyclables, paint, photos, envelopes, catalogs, patterned paper and cardboard in wildly inventive ways. You will never look at mail the same way and you may never send another naked envelope again!
Join me in this MEGA class containing 18+ videos, painty project downloads I have created just for you, and inspiring links. You will soon be creating joyful moments at mail boxes all over your corner of the world!
This class is self-paced and all materials are available to you. Join in when you want and finish on your schedule! There is no close date!
As we all love a good sale, for a limited time, this workshop be offered at a special price of $39 (regular price $42)!

And here we go...
1. One of my favorite birthday presents was a ring my parents gave to me when I was a teenager.
2. The Hawaiian Bread did not rise because I forgot to add the baking powder, it was as simple as that.
3. The moon sometimes appears so close I feel I can reach out and touch it.
4. Reaching any goal includes lots of hard work commitment.
5. I was tempted by Starbucks the other day but resisted the temptation to indulge in a Peppermint Mocha Latte.
6. Swim, walk on the beach, sleep and read are some of the things I like to do on vacation.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to baking, tomorrow my plans include hosting a baby shower for my sweet friend Brittany and Sunday, I want to rest from a super busy week!

Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 12:00AM On a recent visit to my health food store, I decided to try some kale chips. They were a bit pricey but I wanted to see if I liked them. They were quite delicious so I set out to try to make my own. I tried three times and the last batch was perfect. I am sharing the recipe with you and created a recipe card for you to download. Enjoy!
Have a blessed day!

I created this digi page in ArtRage and Procreate on the IPad. I imported the text/words and added lots of layers to blend it all together. I use the Sensu Brush and love it!
