Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 2:52PM •So, yesterday I was driving behind this slow moving car. I tried to be patient but ultimately decided to pass the car and as I did I noticed that the lady driver had a book spread over her steering wheel. Yes, she was reading a book while she was driving. Really?!
•I'm not sure about your pharmacy but at mine you just walk up to the counter to get your prescription and there is no "wait behind this sign" kind of organization. So, just a reminder that if you are waiting for someone else to get their prescription be thoughtful enough to step back from behind that person and give them some privacy as they have to verify their address, phone number and prescription.
•I finally got started on my Romania journal this past weekend. I have so many photos and ephemera that I had to narrow it down to a manageable collection. I had mixed emotions as I started thumbing through the photos, missing my new friends!
Have a blessed day!

Isn't this the cutest little paper clip? My friend got it at Anthropologie.

Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 12:15AM My friend Kira has been visiting this week and it has been so nice to relax with our art supplies and just play! I have been working on a few things but I finished this art journal page today. I took pictures as I worked so you can see the process. I used gesso, oil pastels, spray inks, stencils, acrylic paints, washi tape, masking tape, pencils and pens, scrap papers, rubber stamps, staples and a cute little Instagram photo.
Have a blessed day!

Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 1:01AM Happy Saturday!
While cleaning out my studio the other day I came across a journal I made in the Remains of the Day class I took with Mary Ann Moss a couple of years ago. I am not sure why it ended up stashed away and forgotten but I decided it needs some love so I plan to add bits of my life to it over the next few months and share my journey with you. Tune in tomorrow for a few more pages so you can get caught up!
Have a blessed day!

Monday, April 23, 2012 at 1:41PM There is something very freeing in making marks and scribbles with pencils and crayons. I just started Mindy Lacefield's Paint Your Story workshop and look forward to tapping into my inner child while I work. While piddling around in the studio this weekend, I decided to work in my journal without much thought to the outcome. Here is another page with some funky flowers. Seems they keep making an appearance in my work. :)
Have a blessed day!
