Decrepit Meets Peaceful in Charleston Cemetary

I spent many years in my youth in Charleston, SC and next to its amazing architecture, food and historic plantations, it has beautiful cemeteries. On a recent trip to Charleston we decided to visit the graveyard at the Unitarian Church.  I was surprised at how unkempt and overgrown everything was but yet it was still beautiful.  There are many trees and flowering plants and I can only imagine what it must look like in the spring.

The Unitarian Church in Charleston, home to a Unitarian Universalist congregation, is an historic church located at 4 Archdale Street in Charleston, South Carolina. It is "the oldest Unitarian church in the South" and is a National Historic Landmark. It is the second oldest church in downtown Charleston.*

If you are ever in Charleston be sure to stop by for a visit.  Take the Gateway Walk at the back south corner to King Street and then stroll about a mile north to Basil Thai Restaurant for lunch!

On another note, I have become an UBER fan and while I don't mind walking, taking UBER a couple of times to shave off valuable time made running around town so much easier.**

Have a blessed day!
