Art Journal Musical Chairs...

My friend Kira is on vacation this week and is spending time with me at my home. We have been relaxing, visiting and making lots of art; the get messy and forget to eat kind of art!  Today I got a little overwhelmed about where I should start or what I should create and she suggested that I simply "play" in my journal and not give it much thought.  That sounded wonderful until I plopped the journal down in front of me and stared at its blank pages.  I looked up and asked her if we could do a collaborative and just swap the books back and forth.  She agreed and the art journal musical chairs activity was afoot.

We keyed up Pandora and selected the Rob Pattinson playlist (yes I am a Twilight fan) and began the challenge of working on the pages for the duration of one song before we switched.  It was just what I needed to get inspired and although it was a little crazy, it was fun!

The progress of my journal is below and be sure to visit Kira's blog to see what was created in her journal.

Have a  blessed day!
