Blooming Digi...
Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 8:36AM I am still practicing my mad digital skills on the IPad...Ha! Ha! It is starting to feel more comfortable and I am getting used to the brushes and settings. I feel a new line of Paperbag Studios mixed media rubber stamps coming on!! For this simple page I used Procreate and ArtRage. Still haven't decided which one is my favorite yet. See those cool splatters? Those are available as an add-on in Procreate. I would LOVE to see those added in ArtRage! Have you given digi a try on the IPad? What are your favorite applications?
Also, I am in LOVE with the Sensu Brush & Stylus! It is a quality brush and stylus in one. I like being able to flip back-and-forth between the stylus tip and brush tip and I am amazed at how natural the brush tip feels.
Have a blessed day!

I have been asked how to find and purchase the additional brushes in Procreate. Here's how:

Looks awesome!! I haven't decided either for Artrage or Procreate, they both have great things. I use them combined too, and also use Sketchclub which is great for sketches. I color them in either Artrage or Procreate. Using different apps gives you the best of everything ;-)
Practiced once with Procreate but it was like a left handed person writing with the right hand for the first time. Will keep trying and try the other program also. M
This is seriously cool. I'm eyeing those drawing/art apps for quite some time, but haven't gone any further (yet! ;))
Anyway - just saying Hej! and
Happy creative day!
I've only had my iPad mini for a few days but I love being able to create digitally too. Opens to a lot of new possibilities.
Where do you find the add-ons in Procreate ?
Well, thanks to you I have both apps and love using them. Not tried combining them yet. I also have Paper 53 but find the colour pallet very dull. Thank you for sharing what you discover.
I haven't tried this at all but I'm certainly enjoying all the art that you and everyone else is making!
I haven't tried these yet but seeing your post I will asap ;) Look great. I love Paper 53 on the iPad.
I love using my iPad to create sketches and design. I do love procreate but it can work slow if you have lots of layers. For doodles Paper 53 is wonderful and have a great watercolor brush that is my favorite in that app. I have the whole pck and don't think the colors are dull.
I also use Adobe ideas a lot because its a vector based program and also sketch club sometimes.
I do love your new digital drawing. Great style.
