What it is...
Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 8:00AM "If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?" ~ Alice
...and I would snap my fingers and my studio would be all clean!

So, yesterday I was up before dawn...again. I was in Target when it opened and it was quite nice shopping as if I were the only customer inside. I found this super cute quilt and thought it would look nice, replacing the brown comforter in my guest room. Aren't these colors and patterns inspiring?

Starbucks wasn't busy so I got to chat with my two favorite baristas and I resisted the temptation to stop by Panera Bread for a bagel on my way home.
I've been feeling a bit disconnected since I returned home from my mission trip. The jet lag has about passed but I am having trouble getting focused.
The studio needs to be cleaned so that is what I will start with.
Happy Wednesday! :)

Hi Roben-Marie,
I'm glad I'm not the only who needs to tidy their studio. I get really involved with a project(s) and everything goes everywhere. I organised it in January and it's due for another clean-up. I really envy people who have neat, tidy and organised spaces.
Love your work and readying your blog,
Carmen
I love cleaning my play room. I always find awesome things that inspire me.
Cleaning the studio is exactly what I need to do too. Love the patterns on the quilt. And OMG I love Panera's and have missed it so much since we moved to New Mexico. They don't have one here.
I wouldn't know what to do with myself if my studio were clean! happy to see you back.
What a nice surprise to see what your desk looks like! I've often wondered! When I'm working on a big or even small project, my desk, spare bed and just about everything else has stuff on it!!! I do have to clean it up each day, otherwise my cat would have a little too much fun with all the goodies on it!
Loved the quilt!!!
Very cute quilt. Hoping the clean up helps you to discover something inspiring ;-)
There is no way for me to work neatly. I just can't seem to keep on top of the clutter I produce. I've been working almost all week shoveling out my studio and purging things I haven't used in ages....and wonder why I ever bought it in the 1st place...especially that really ugly scrapbook paper...LOL!!
I can see my desk again and can't wait to finish my projects from your online class I'm working through.....love what I've done so far...THANK YOU for all the inspiration!!!
Oh my, now I know I am not alone!! I found myself scouring the images, as tho magnifying glass in hand (picture Harriet The Spy) 8 year old on a mission, saying "omg, what does she have, what does she have?" loud enough that the others at the table (picture iPads and iPhone addicts announimous meeting) hear me and look up. What fun to look at all the supplies and goodies!! Thanks for sharing!!
