A smile is a window...

A little story about when I took this photo: we were waiting for the director of the Red Cross and I was taking pictures and looked up and saw this woman staring out her window. I waved to her and she looked back at me with a puzzled look on her face. I then took a picture of this window; I loved the lace. Anyway, the woman opens her window and starts speaking in Hungarian and waving and pointing at me. I thought she might be thinking that I was taking pictures of her and it upset her. I told the director that I was only taking pictures of the window. He spoke with her and told me that she wanted to know "if she knew you or if you were someone with a kind heart?" That made me smile.

What a sweet story. Thanks for sharing it with us and for the photo. I bet you got some amazing pics while you were gone. I always found treasures when traveling to European and Mediterranean countries. Did you get to create any art (other than photo taking) while you were away or was your situation not conducive to it? I was just wondering! Have a great weekend! Blessings, Barbara

you are definitely someone with a kind heart!! roben-marie, i don't know if i ever told you, but the little things i learned in the art class i took from you, i use all the time. it's true. your little tidbits & helpful hints have truly effected my way of creating art, in a positive way. thank you! :)
