Friday, June 22, 2012 at 9:00AM ...and away we go! Thank-you so much for all the well wishes as Brittany and I head to Romania. If you are a geography junkie check out the map below to see exactly where we will be working. The town is Sfântu Gheorghe, Covasna Transylvania. On an interesting note, the Bran Castle is located in the Carpathian Mountains near Brasov, which is about 30 minutes away. One of my favorite books is The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. Part of the book takes place in this area and how ironic that I am now actually going to see it in person.

Wow! I've lived in Brasov (Brasso) for 1,5 year and worked in St. George too! Love the area and the beautiful Carpathians. Brans Castle is fun to visit :) Mmmm - this brought back tons of good memories! Thanks :)
