Art journaling...

FORWARD - 9 x 12
Hello! I've been spending a lot of time in the studio lately. Now that it is more functional and I have my favorite supplies in reach, I actually want to work in there. I used to open the door and look at the mess and just turn around. One of my goals for this year is to schedule time to work and not just wait for moments of inspiration and so far I can tell that I am more productive.
For this journal page, I went back to my roots and used the darker colors, or jewel tones.
Have a blessed day!

Beautiful as usual! I like you are you now including all the supplies you used. Very helpful! My girls and I are slowing working through all your online classes I'm signed up for. Sarah in particular loves to watch your videos over and over again. :-)
love the journal page! the jewel colors are wonderful! looks like it was fun to paint....
Love your creation, the colours are wonderful.
so gorgeous + inspiring. I love all the color + texture + layering.
I love this page with darker colors and yet 'spots' of brightness in it. Gorgeous!
I share your thoughts about the difference some organization can make in the creative flow!
Also, just a quick note to tell you I’ve nominated you for a “Versatile Blog Award”!
Don’t know what that means? Well, neither did I when I received this award last week from a fellow blogger named Isobel (http://coldhamcuddliescalling.blogspot.com/) in Warminster, Wiltshire, United Kingdom. I, of course, wanted to know more, so I did some research. I found a website that helped a lot. I also began to notice, as I surfed around, the “Versatile Blog Award” button on some blogs I was visiting. Visit my blog to see the announcement of your blog as a recipient of this award.
Why you, you may ask? Just because, I say! Because your blog caught my attention and inspired me in some fashion. It might have been the way you write, the great photos you take, or the fact that you motivate me to act, to be. Perhaps it was the look and feel of your blog overall. Maybe because you seemed genuine in some way, not self-serving, and not necessarily writing to accumulate “followers”, but rather with passion. Whatever my reason, a good chance for me to say “thanks” for delighting me through your blog!
Thanks for always inspiring me! Karen
Hi Roben-Marie,
I love the changes you have made to your work and your work!
Roben-Marie, I always enjoy the freedom of your pages, and the colors - *swoon*! This format of showing your supplies is genius and generous. Love it!
Roben-Marie, it's beautiful!
