I'm taking an on-line workshop called Blast Off with Alyson Stanfield and last week one of our assignments led to the creation of affirmations.  Since I will be viewing these on a daily basis, I decided to make them pretty.  I wrote my affirmations on pieces cut from copies of my art journal pages.  I laminated them and connected them with a 7 Gypsies Binding Ring.  I also attached a bird given to me by my talented friend, Rae. She made it from fabric scraps and I knew it was the perfect compliment to the cards!

Have a  blessed day!

Very nice, good idea. I may make some for myself with the painted pages from your class. I love the class by the way. I really like the step by step.
I would like to ask how you get the magazines along the side of your blog? Do you need permission to do this. I would like to feature the magazines I am featured in, but this all still new for me. I only do very, very basic stuff :)
Thanks for everything Roben-Marie!

These are lovely, and I really love that you used copies of your work as the back ground! Having daily affirmations is important I have a set of 31 cards, one for each day of the month, I read them every morning and then write down how I can use each one in my day!

Oh wow, now that's inspiring! A cold and grey, rainy day in Holland and I could use some bright colours! It's like you bring a ray of sunshine into my day, thank you!

Did you use water color?? The effect is effortless but so artistic. I like the cards!!

How beautiful! Those look amazing, the colors are absolutely stunning to look at. You know, you may have something could replicate those and sell them to others, every thought of that?
