Wasn't that fun...

I am not sure why, but I woke this morning around 4:30am and have been unable to get back to sleep. After tossing and turning for over an hour, I decided it best to just get up and make use of the unwanted awake time! Could it be that before I went to sleep last night I discovered that one of my external hard drives bit the dust and left me with corrupted files? Did I mention that on that disk were three Watch the Process art journaling videos yet to be uploaded? EEK! I know, I should have had them in another location just in case. I am the queen of back-up, save and be prepared but this time I messed up. I have learned my lesson! I was amazingly calm about the whole thing and am rather proud of myself. So, the journal page I post today once had a nice little video to go along with it. So, close your eyes and imagine that the paint is being poured onto the page, my fingers are tapping and moving in fast motion, (only because I speed up the video while editing), and in about eight minutes out pops this journal page. Wasn't that fun?

Various supplies used: gesso, stencils, Permaball Pilot Pen, acrylic paint, inky fabric, felt leaves, masking tape, thread, scrap paper, Golden Acrylic paint, UHU Glue Stick, oil pastels and Adirondack Colorwash Spray Inks.

You did well to stay calm! When I think of the time that goes into editing your videos...not to mention how much your readers enjoy them, loosing them sucks.

Love the page especially the flowers and felt leaves! So sorry to hear about your ext. hard drive. I had the same thing happen to me and the drive was only a year old. What's up with that?

I don't think that you should get yourself into a situation where you feel badly about posting a page without a video!!!! The video's are fabulous and on't get me wrong I LOVE them BUT I really love seeing your pages all by themselves as well!!!
Whenever I do see that you have posted a video I do get really psyched!!!
Computers are so touchy can't live without them these days and we are so desperate when they fail us!! HUGS!

I am so sorry your files got corrupted and you lost your videos. However, it is fun to use our imaginations and visualize you pouring paint, swirling it around, writing words all the while with your fingers tapping. This page is lovely my dear... Maybe a nice nap is in order.
